My MONA Experience With Rainn Wilson!

This past Sunday, I had the opportunity to be a youth ambassador for a really cool organization called the MONA Foundation. The event marked the 10th anniversary of the organization.

My friends Kristen, Melanie, and Paulina helped out too, and we all prepared for the luncheon by learning a little about different projects MONA works on. Mine was India and DSH.

In India, they're helping teach women techniques to make life easier, like using solar cookers or recycling fabric scraps.

DSH stands for Digital Study Hall, where they're videotaping real teachers lead their classrooms and sending them to third world countries so that children can watch and learn from real lessons and teachers can learn better teaching methods.

To learn more about MONA, check out their website, hey, maybe you'll get inspired!! :)

I had a BLAST at the event! Overall, I learned a lot, met new people, and also....*drum roll please* I got to meet Rainn Wilson!!!
